Principal responsibilities include:

1. This is a quota/commission/bonus based position based on retention of current clients, sales and up selling of current products and services.

2. Will call on existing customer base either by telephone or in person field calls to reduce disconnects for the business unit.

3. Must execute long term service agreements with current customers.

4. Management of service agreements and contracts. Maintenance and administration of said files.

5. Ensure compliance and enforcement of existing service agreements and contracts.

6. Provide monitoring of all disconnects and ascertain the reasons for clients canceling of service.

7. Sell ancillary products and services, and up sell higher bandwidths.
8. Provide reports as to disconnect reasons and recommend solutions to reduce client churn.

9. Follow-up and resolve client issues by choosing an appropriate course of action.
10. Trouble-shoot customer service problems and follows appropriate action as is needed.

11. May serve as a sales representative and sell ancillary services, speed upgrades, and utilize retention skills in order to save a potential downgrade or disconnect of service.

12. Will consult with GM as to any save offer relative to any competitive environment.

13. Responsible for order entry for new, upgrade, downgrade, transfer or disconnect of service and responsible for accurate computer entries and paperwork associated with any transactions.

14. Acts as backup to HSD Department Coordinator

15. Will assume over all administration of all National Accounts sales. Will assist GM in client inquiries, NA accounts and transfer's to a Virtual Office products package of products to all BHN divisions.

16. Will assist GM with assigned reporting functions as to required sales reports, and will report to Vice Presidents when GM cannot report same.

17. Interface with Advance Newhouse and the GM on reporting and other requests.

18. Performs clerical functions, such as responding to written customer inquiries, completing daily, weekly or monthly reports, and various other non-phone functions, as assigned.

19. Responsible for promoting a welcoming, friendly, professional environment.

20. Performs other duties as assigned by the GM of Business Solutions.This position reports to the General Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities. Extensive outside contacts with customers and the general public are a key to this position.

New Program Called Crane Veteran's Training Center (CVTC) Pilot Project Plan To Begin in AUGUST 2007

VISION: Upon completion of the CVTC program, the participant will be fully integrated into the workforce with a meaningful. dignified job/career and that the CVTC will become a model for other DOD activities and will be rolled out nationally in the future.

OBJECTIVE/SCOPE: The CVTC will bring together a wide variety of training and education resources to meet the individual need of our disables Veteran, with a focus on providing career opportunities at Crane or other local/regional civilian jobs. The jobs will range from trades skills to engineering positions, blue and white collar alike. NSA Crane intends on establishing a training center for Veterans for job placement with the DOD as well as our surrounding community utilizing our DOD Contractors and Indiana business partners. In order to better understand the issues with a Veteran's Training Program a pilot project is required. This pilot program will being together the basic elements of the program from identifying /screening applicants, developing a tailors program for each participant, conducting the classroom training, providing the on job training, addressing housing/transportation/subsistence needs if required and finally placement of the participant in the workforce.

PILOT ASSUMPTION/PARAMETERS:
Training will be vocation/technical with a certificate upon completion.

Limit participants to no more than 20 disabled military or veterans, all Indiana residents.

Project funding from State of Indiana for planning and administration, vocational rehabilitation funding by Veteran's Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Service, with additional resources from Indiana Department of Workforce Development and other sources such as grant funding, congressional earmarks, additional state funding and private resources.

Medical support from Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis and VA Branch facilities. Possible use of private facilities as well.

Participants have some existing technical skill level.

Vincennes University (VU) andIvy Tech as participating educational institutions. If housing required, VU provide dormitory room or housing at NSA Crane in family quarters. Combined Batchelor Quarters and/or modular housing at Crane Village.

Course of Instruction (COI) under 30 credit hours i.e. Certificate-type program of instruction.

State date August 2007.

Length of pilot not more than 18 months.

NSA Crane as work study location.

Indiana Department of Veteran's Affairs (IDVA), State Veteran Coordinator and Department of Veteran Affairs to identify candidates.

Committee with representatives from VA Regional Office, IDVA/Veteran Coordinator, NSA Crane, Crane Technology In (CTI), VU, Ivy Tech to screen candidate and select participants.

Principal participating organizations: DVA Regional Office, IDVA/Veteran Coordinator, NSA Crane, Crane Technology Inc (CTI), VU, Ivy Tech, State Vocational rehabilitation office, Roudebush Poly-trauma Center, and State Regional Representative (region 8 operator).

VU and Ivy Tech to develop tailored COI for each participant based on current skill level and desired outcome.

CTI to monitor and administrate pilot.

Army Funded ARNG Summer Surge Drill Sergeant Opportunities



The ARNG is currently seeking qualified NCO's to attend the Active Component Drill Sergeant Course at Ft. Jackson with all associated funding provided by the Army at no expense to the Soldier's state or unit. Drill Sergeants will then incur a two-Summer commitment (90 - 130 days on active status) to serve as a Basic Combat Training (BCT) Drill Sergeant at one of the Army's five Army Training Centers (ATC) posts; FT Benning, GA - Ft. Jackson, SC - Ft.
Leonard Wood, MO - Ft. Sill, OK - Ft. Jackson, SC - Ft. Knox, KY).

The Drill Sergeant Candidate must be a SGT - SFC and meet the Drill Sergeant Criteria found at http://www.blogger.com/www.guarddrillsergeant.com.
Soldiers that are currently Drill Sergeant qualified (ASI X) can also volunteer for this duty but may require the two-week Drill Sergeant Recertification Course at Ft. Jackson.

Soldiers may not volunteer if they have been notified of a future deployment.
Federal and State deployments will take precedence over this program and/or the follow-on Summer Surge period commitment.


The Process

Note: The Drill Sergeant packet must be approved by your Chain of Command before a Drill Sergeant training seat will be allocated.

3. Each applicant must go through a background investigation and will be required to mail an SF 86 and a fingerprint card (FD 258) to the address below, regardless of their current security status, including a letter head stating it is for Drill Sergeant School. State Youth Coordinator

Position Location: This position will be located at the Indiana Joint Forces Headquarters located in Indianapolis in the Family Program Office.

CORRECTIONS OFFICER
JOHNSON COUNTY COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS

Corrections Officers with Community Corrections monitor and supervise participants on a day- to- day basis in the Home Detention and Work Release programs.

Candidates will assist in the security of the Detention Area, conduct random screens, including utilizing breathalyzers, searches of participants, seizing weapons and/or contraband, and taking appropriate action, such as arrest, reading of rights and transporting. You will update records of warrants served on Work Release and Home Detention participants, investigate complaints relative to the Community Corrections programs and investigate allegations against participants’ utilizing appropriate undercover techniques as required. You will maintain communications equipment, monitor closed circuit television system, receive security or fire alarms and respond appropriately, and answer business and/or emergency telephone from the public, and maintain a log of daily calls. This requires the ability to type forms, statements, letters, status reports from rough drafts, as well as entering data on computer. Master Electrical Specialist

Position Purpose: Master Electrical Specialists are primarily responsible for actively seeking and providing customer service to all customers, with an emphasis on residential, repair and remodel, and other professional customers within the electrical department. Associates in this position work closely with the Pro Account Sales Associates in providing outstanding service to customers through the sharing of product knowledge and developing and maintaining professional customer relationships, paying special attention to customers' needs and solutions. Master Electrical Specialists have an emphasis on department and product knowledge, providing information on product features and knowing related items to sell an entire project. Associates in this position know how to greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in their department, and are able to handle the basics in adjacent departments. Each Master Electrical Specialist has the responsibility of providing a safe environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty, and working safely as not to endanger themselves, co-workers, vendors, or customers.

The Department of Gender Studies at Indiana University is seeking a full time instructor to teach three courses per semester for beginning August 2007. Reappointment for a second year is contingent upon favorable review after the first.

    academic background in research related to women, gender or sexuality
  • Have previous successful teaching experiences at the collegiate level in Gender/Women's Studies or a related field

Hello, We are HHSB's Family Readiness Group Operation Employment Program. Our mission is to assist soldiers with employment. We understand that our National Guard soldiers have civilian jobs as well.
