Purpose/Role Statement:
The Delivery Route Material Handler is responsible for physically delivering parts to production areas and collecting pull signals from kanban or requisition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for verifying correctness of materials being replenished at each work station and supermarket location via delivery route.
2. Responsible for handling material in a manner to prevent damage, degradation, and in fitness for use.
3. Responsible for the continuous monitoring of work cells and the replenishment of parts to the work cells.
4. Responsible for sending reservation to warehouse via the kanban signal in SAP in coordination with the delivery frequency.
5. Responsible for developing and maintaining delivery route sequence.
6. Must Comply with requirements of ISO 14001 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Must follow all applicable SOP’s and GOI’s related to the handling of materials. Must verify correctness of materials being replenished at each location.

Qualifications :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee will frequently be required to walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. SAP experience is preferred and good communication skills are a must. Must have the ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills. Demonstration of a solid work history and maintain a good attendance record. Must have H.S. diploma.
