COUNTY COORDINATOR

Johnson County, Indiana, (Franklin) is accepting applications for the position of County Coordinator.

This position reports to the Johnson County Commissioners and will provide guidance and direction on employee matters including change management initiatives, implementation of employee training programs, the recruiting and hiring process, coaching and development, disciplinary action and other Human Resource issues. The selected individual is responsible for establishing and administering central purchasing for the county in accordance with current county ordinances and Indiana Law. The position coordinates various activities of the Commissioners and their direct reports.

The candidate must have good public relations skills as well as a minimum of four to five years experience in the Human Resources field. We prefer two to three years in government. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field. Knowledge and background in areas of management principals and procedures desired.

CORRECTIONS OFFICER
JOHNSON COUNTY COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS

Corrections Officers with Community Corrections monitor and supervise participants on a day- to- day basis in the Home Detention and Work Release programs.

Candidates will assist in the security of the Detention Area, conduct random screens, including utilizing breathalyzers, searches of participants, seizing weapons and/or contraband, and taking appropriate action, such as arrest, reading of rights and transporting. You will update records of warrants served on Work Release and Home Detention participants, investigate complaints relative to the Community Corrections programs and investigate allegations against participants’ utilizing appropriate undercover techniques as required. You will maintain communications equipment, monitor closed circuit television system, receive security or fire alarms and respond appropriately, and answer business and/or emergency telephone from the public, and maintain a log of daily calls. This requires the ability to type forms, statements, letters, status reports from rough drafts, as well as entering data on computer. You will perform various intake procedures and monitors participant’s release/return times according to proper legal and Community Corrections policies/guidelines and may comfort emotionally upset persons; referring them to various social service agencies.

The selected individual should possess a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience; with completion of Johnson County Sheriff Department Reserve Academy and Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Jail School training programs. Must demonstrate ability to maintain strict confidentiality of department information and records. Valid Indiana driver’s license and safe driving record required. Добрый день, перерыла весь интернет, очень много вакнсий, но реальных вакансий очень мало. Либо уже взяли человенка на работу, либо зарплата не очень. Кто какими сайтами пользуется, подскажите пожалуйста
