Position Description:
We are seeking a full time Military Spouse National Account Executive with primary duties to sell magazine display advertising space to Fortune 1000 businesses across the country.
Specific duties include:
Prospect for and sell print and web advertising in Military Spouse magazine and www.milspouse.com primarily via inside sales / phone / email communications. Average per ad cost is $1,500 - $4,000, depending on size. Average deal closed is $10,000.
Manage long term advertiser relationships with a focus on renewals.
Some travel may be required, perhaps an average of 4-6 times per year.
Workplace is in Pittsburgh, PA (Coraopolis) and normal working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 pm.
Qualifications:
Career-oriented professional with strong, positive interpersonal skills and ability to talk and build rapport with customers on the phone and in person.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong computer usage skills: must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, web searches and email.
Typing ability, at least 40 wpm.
Strong networking skills and a passion for business, people and helping customers.
Sales experience preferred but are willing to train the right candidate.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Prior military or military spouse experience preferred but not required.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary plus commission, commensurate with experience. Please provide a salary history.

Ten days paid vacation per year to start
