Positions available with the AmeriCorps RAP

Over the last few years, the Monroe County Chapter has had the benefit of input from many talented young individuals, members of the AmeriCorps Program. Now that our current crop of AmeriCorps Response and Preparedness (RAP) Corps are finishing their terms of service, we are thankful for
everything that Taylor, James and Kenneth have done forour Chapter.

However, we need to keep an eye on the future. We will continue to participate in the AmeriCorps RAP program(which is actually a state
wide program working only with the American Red Cross), therefore we are
now actively recruiting for new members to join us.

People interested in the program can visit the website for the St. Joseph County Red Cross and click on the link for AmeriCorps and follow the steps to fill out an application.

Our last remaining Ameri-Corps member, Kenneth Brown will leave us this week to start basic training as a new member of the Indiana National Guard.
Good luck Ken!
