PRESENTER:
Siggy Letheby, a retired USMC First Sergeant, is the Recruitment Coordinator, for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Labor, in Chicago.
SUBJECT MATTER:
Class 1: The Federal Application Process
Mr. Letheby will be presenting information to increase chances of securing Federal Employment. Tailoring an employment search to Federal Government rules will increase ones chances of being hired for a Federal position. A number of topics discussed will be:
1) How to search job openings
2) Decoding vacancy announcements
3) Understanding special Veteran hiring authorities
4) Information on the Federal Job Hiring Reform
5) Creating a Federal resume and submission
6) Required additional documentation
