Job Available System Test Engineer/Technician

Primary Job Functions and Responsibilities
 Develop complex test plans with detailed procedures
 Design, build and coordinate test set-ups.
 Perform operational effectiveness analysis of IED Defeat systems.
 Assist in the operation and maintenance of the systems under test.
 Create evaluation reports.
 Manage and maintain the explosive test range.
 Assist with assembly and installation of systems.
Secondary/Possible Job Functions, Responsibilities
 Under general supervision, create training courses for the operation of products.
 Facilitate the instruction and training of military personnel in the operation and maintenance of
products.
 Manage inventories and logistics of product builds.
Desirable Technical Skills
 Excellent knowledge of evaluation processes and strong oral and written communication skills
 Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues.
 Experience writing and facilitating training courses is a plus.
Personal Attributes
 Must be enthusiastic, motivated and self driven; capable of independent action.
 Must exhibit a high degree of ingenuity, resourcefulness and attentiveness to detail.
 High personal standards of integrity, conduct and speech are required.
 Participates well in team projects and interacts well with others to produce positive group results.
 Must be able to work in an outdoor environment and occasionally travel to military sites to support
evaluations and training.
Military Experience
 US military EOD or Combat Engineer experience with practical working knowledge of IED-Defeat
and route clearance is highly desired.
 Experience in Afghanistan or Iraq in an operational, training or leadership capacity is a plus.
 Must be able to acquire and hold a Secret Level Security Clearance.
Education/Training/Certifications
 BS Engineering/Technology degree with 6 years experience is preferred. An AS degree with a
minimum 8 years experience and training will be considered.
 Being certified as an explosives expert or having a Federal Explosives License (FEL) is a plus.
 Must be proficient at MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
