POSITION: MAINTENANCE REPAIRPERSON 2 ‐ HVAC (10056331, Job ID # 571633)
LOCATION: Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Butlerville, Indiana 47223
SALARY: $12.33 hour; $925.00 Bi‐weekly; $24,050.00 Annually
PURPOSE OF POSITION/SUMMARY:
Incumbent performs journey‐level preventive maintenance, repair, and minor construction on the federally supported facilities.

POSITION: Construction Project Engineer/Civil Engr 1 (10001847, Job ID # 572338)
LOCATION: Camp Atterbury, Edinburgh, Indiana
SALARY: $1,476.00 bi-weekly; $38,376 annually
DUTIES: Serves as construction project engineer for the Army National Guard (OMARNG) Minor Construction and Maintenance/Repair projects for the Directorate of Public Works at Camp Atterbury, which includes: planning, designing, writing specifications, and on-site supervision. Incumbent works independently to achieve goals and objectives provided by the Camp Atterbury Facility Manager. Representing duties include: Executes, coordinates and assists in the preparation of project; design plans, specifications and bidding documents; Reviews documents submitted by contractors for technical adequacy and compliance with construction specifications, federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations; Coordinates the work of Architect-Engineering companies, construction contractors and utility companies at several project sites; Conducts daily site visits and inspections; Reviews and analyzes proposed design and/or specifications changes while construction is in process; Provides technical engineering guidance on construction projects; Develops and prepares project justification documents (NGB 420r and DD 1390/91), including cost estimates, bills of materials, and supporting technical data for unusual requirements; Maintains project books and files relating to the authorization, design, progress, construction, costs and completion of all OMARNG Minor Construction and Maintenance/Repair projects; Prepares/reviews and submits environmental documents, site survey reports, soil analysis reports and energy source selection reports;
Assists in preparing and evaluating the Camp Atterbury long-range construction program; Assists in identifying and proposing infrastructure projects/upgrades as it pertains to construction projects; Performs related duties as assigned.

POSITION: SEASONAL WORKER
LOCATION: HOOSIER YOUTH CHALLENGE ACADEMY, Knightstown, Indiana

SALARY: $11.00 hour; This position is limited to working a maximum of 180 days a year.
DUTIES: Incumbents will perform a wide variety of labor oriented duties as required to maintain the Hoosier Youth Challenge Academy, Knightstown facility. Examples of types of work may include, but are not limited to:
• Mowing, landscaping, snow removal;
• Performing road surface repairs;
• Assisting with set up of traffic control;
• Moving and placement of office and living type furnishings;
• Operating and maintaining small and large equipment with moderate training, operating hand tools and equipment;
• Janitorial duties;
• Assisting in performing maintenance activities; painting walls, ceilings, curbs, cross walks, signs and traffic control lines;
• Assisting in powerhouse functions, laundry operations, food services, warehouse operations, water plant operations, fleet repairs; and,
• Performing other labor related work as assigned.

PROGRAM: HOOSIER YOUTH CHALLENGE ACADEMY
POSITION: CADRE TEAM LEADER (10060647 ; Job ID # 572239)
LOCATION: Knightstown, Indiana
SALARY: $13.48 hour; $1,011.00 bi‐weekly; $26,686.00 annually
Purpose of Position/Summary:
The mission of the Hoosier Youth ChalleNGe Academy (HYCA) is to intervene in and reclaim the lives of at‐risk youth to produce program graduates with the values, skills, education and self‐discipline necessary to succeed as adults. This program provides military based training, including supervised work experience in community service and conservation programs, to civilian youth who cease to attend secondary school before graduating so as to improve their life skills and employment potential.
Team Leaders are assigned to a Team of Cadets, whom they work with the majority of their shifts. The Team Leader is the direct supervisor of the Cadets and is primarily responsible for Cadet accountability, discipline and safety; enforcement of Academy rules and policies; instruction of drill and ceremony; physical‐fitness training; movement of Cadets according to the training schedule; completing administrative reports; and, providing assistance in tutoring of academics.
Acting as a positive role model Team Leaders also play an important role in ensuring cadet completion of the 8‐core objectives, (Academic Excellence, Physical Fitness, Job Skills, Leadership/Followership, Responsible Citizenship, Service to Community, Health & Hygiene, and Life Coping Skills). Teaching the Cadets life‐skills through: positive mentoring; leading by example; providing counseling; teaching basic social skills; enforcing standards; helping to build self‐confidence and problem solving abilities; developing leadership and teamwork skills; and, providing instruction/facilitation of Challenge tasks.
