SALARY: $1,803.00 bi-weekly; $46,878.00 annually
DUTIES: The purpose is to modify and maintain Geospatial Information System (GIS) data layers, create GIS applications and serve as the technical expert for GIS development. Incumbent serves as the focal point on GIS software issues. Representative duties include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain/update ArcSDE geodatabases and ArclMS GIS web applications;
• Develop, acquire & analyze GIS data in support of Master Planning applications;
• Develop and maintain metadata;
• Assist in building Indiana National Guard GIS infrastructure; Conduct periodic reviews for quality control to assure improved quality, efficiency & consistency through the use of GIS applications;
• Provides GIS technical support & advice for implementation to Federal & State organizations;
• Serves as the Master Planning representative in the Indiana National Guard GIS program; Researches, interprets, reviews & applies federal regulations to GIS procedures to successfully complete assignments;
• Develops & maintains contacts with State Geospatial Committees;
• Conducts information interviews with peers, managers, and others to gather potential GIS information;
• Conducts training, presentations & briefings to provide information regarding Geo-spatial software & applications of Geo-spatial technology to a wide audience;
• Other duties as may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong general knowledge of the theory, principles, and concepts of GIS; • Must know ArcInfo, ArcView, ArcIMS, and ArcSDE;
• Solid communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment; • The ability to analyze data and solve problems;
• A base knowledge of Windows XP operating system, Microsoft Office, TCP/IP & FTP protocols sufficient to support the hardware & software platforms for hosting GIS data & applications.
• AutoCad, HTML, Microsoft SQL Server, ArcPad, GPS technology experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities
1. Operate vehicle for the delivery of blood products and materials. Operate vehicle safely and within traffic laws. May require driving in inclement weather conditions.
2. Prepare for deliveries by verifying orders, loading vehicles and maintaining route supply inventory to ensure prompt delivery of products to customers.
3. Document temporary storage and transportation of blood, blood products and materials as required by internal and external regulatory requirements.
4. Perform routine checks of product storage temperatures and maintenance of temperature controlled units at off-site storage locations.
5. Provide customer service by giving basic information and interacting in a positive proactive manner with hospital employees.

Phlebotomist (Collection Technician II)

Accepting candidates from Fort Wayne, IN, area (residence in Allen, Huntington, Wells, Adams, Blackford, Jay counties) for full-time Collection Technician II (Phlebotomy) position in the Fort Wayne District of the IN-OH Blood Region. Position pays 10/75/hr, $1.25/hr shift differential, with excellent benefits that include health, dental, vision insurance, Paid-Time-Off, 401K and 403B savings plans.
JOB SUMMARY:
Conduct donor health history screening to determine eligibility and complete donor phlebotomy procedures. Perform blood drive support functions as assigned. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive, professional image of the Biomedical Services. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures, Safety Quality Identity Potency Purity (SQUIPP), regulations outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other applicable Federal, state and local regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or phlebotomy training preferred. Documented satisfactory performance as Collections Technician I or the equivalent experience is required.
•Customer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills are required.
•A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Basic computer skills desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Comply with applicable Federal, State and local regulations as well as all policies, procedures and guidelines.
2. Perform whole blood collection procedures (allogeneic, autologous, directed, therapeutic). Performs donor health history screening procedures.
3. Perform drive set-up, donor greeting, collection set labeling, processing and packing blood, and donor reaction care as assigned.
4. Perform daily function checks, assemble and maintain supplies and equipment to ensure a state of readiness and to maintain compliance.
5. Function with team effort to ensure efficient donation process focused on donor and sponsor expectations. Maintain positive public relations to promote a professional image.
6. May operate any ARC vehicle. Operate assigned vehicle according to applicable regulations. May perform vehicle checks and complete DOT paperwork per established protocol. Perform vehicle loading and unloading as assigned.
7. Complete required readings and training assignments by assigned deadline.
8. Perform other related duties as necessary.
