SHIPPING CLERK


Identify, assemble, package and label items for shipment according to shipping agent and customer specifications. Duties also include receiving material, checking for quality, and coordinating final delivery. Communicate through in-house software, electronically, and via phone with shipping companies, customers, and coworkers. Responsible for packaging, counting, storing, replenishing, and rotating stock in the warehouse or stockroom on a daily basis.

The perfect candidate will be self-motivated, able to use time management skills and prioritization skills to accomplish tasks independently and under deadlines. A detail-oriented person who is able to clearly and precisely communicate via various forms of communication (telephone, email, in writing, etc). A quick learner who can efficiently learn our thousands of products and various processes for shipping them.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis Must be able to bend, twist, squat throughout the workday.
Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day's tasks within the hours provided Speak, write, read and communicate in English as needed.
See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, (this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally.
Must be 18 years of age
Must be available for overtime (defined as over 40 hours per week).
Must have at least minimal computer skills

Desired requirements:
Fork truck driving experience desired but will train Good computer skills Self-starter with good prioritization skills Good team player Detail oriented.
