The Adult & Family Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) works as part of a mobile team to provide family
services to military members and families who are geographically isolated from
military installations. The Counselor provides on-site, mobile, telephonic
and/or direct short-term, non-medical, solution-focused counseling services to
individuals, couples, families and groups for situations resulting from
commonly occurring life circumstances such as parenting, relationship
conflicts, stress, personal loss, and deployments and reunions. Two years (post licensure) experience working
with families in the areas of relationships, behavior management, coping
skills, parenting skills/education, child development, separation, stress
management, single parenting, step-parenting, family separation, reunion and
reintegration, assessments and referrals. *
All Behavioral Health Positions require: Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field and
licensure at the highest independent level as a clinical social worker,
marriage family therapist, clinical professional counselor or psychologist in Indiana. Up to 70% travel within the State where these
positions are located. Evenings and
weekends required.
