Military/Veteran Hire Search - Two Companies

TWO COMPANIES HIRING MILITARY/VETERANS

COLUMBUS IN:

Large machining/production company in Columbus looking to hire individuals who have the following experience for these positions:

Die Machinist (Forge Plant)

* Knowledge of turning and repairing forge punches, cutters and dies.
* Possess the ability to create, modify or repair existing tooling, support maintenance and production.
* 2-5 years experience working in a machine shop.
* Ability to read blue prints and experience with measuring tools.
* Ability to read and write CNC programming.
* Experience with EDM Sinker and CNC Milling.
* Experience with tig welding (a plus).
* Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Maintenance Technician(Forge Plant)

* Perform preventative maintenance tasks including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, filter changes, machine repairs, etc…
* Must be capable of using hand tools and power tools.
* Knowledge of machine parts, terminology and general manufacturing processes.
* Possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to read machine prints.
* Must be flexible to adapt to ever-changing job requirements
* General computer use as it pertains to the position, such as, MPS, MS Excel, and JD Edwards.
* Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.



INDIANAPOLIS IN:

Local company in Indianapolis looking for military members/veterans to fill an opening for Class A CDL driver position.

Must hold valid Class A CDL.

All driving is within Marion County.

Experience in loading and hauling equipment.

Experience desired but not a must in concrete and sewer repair.

Work hours will mostly be through the day time but will be on call 24/7. Allows for possibility of overtime.
